Guardian Pharmacy of Daytona President Brian Rosati recently spoke at the Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) about the various changes and challenges that have faced assisted living facilities this year. Brian discussed the expanded role of trained, unlicensed staff in the ALF market and delivered a presentation on “Why pharmacies don’t send meds,” highlighting the pitfalls of pharmacy management when it comes to insurance companies, illegible orders, incomplete orders, staff not answering doors to accept deliveries and the like.
