In May, the Guardian team proudly acknowledged the unique contributions of Jacksonville’s nurses to healthcare by gifting beautiful succulents to area nurses in honor of Nurse’s Week. “Nurses are so special and render excellent care,” said Georgina Leininger, sales director. “It was fun to acknowledge their ‘ex-succulent’ work.’
Skilled nursing homes were also celebrated during National Nursing Home Week in May. The week-long holiday was established to recognize the essential role of skilled nursing centers in caring for America’s frail, elderly and disabled. To show that they know their customers are the “sweetest,” Guardian Jacksonville honored care teams with special sweet treats.
