Guardian Pharmacy of SWFL gives back the gift of life-saving blood for our community!
Each month, the pharmacy hosts a blood drive led by president Mike Klein. Many of our staff regularly participate and we even get walk-ins due to the visibility of the bus being parked in our lot.
Giving blood is crucial in saving lives! We had a great turnout at our blood drive in February, according to our honor roll.

We are pleased to share with you that the recent blood drive resulted in 11 units of blood. Each donation can save up to three lives, which means 33 patients could benefit from Guardian Pharmacy of Southwest Florida’s efforts last month.
Did you know that collections from a blood drive will likely be transfused into a patient within 48 to 72 hours? The turnaround is that fast and the need is constant. An enthusiastic, dependable blood drive chairperson is one of the keys to a successful blood drive and we want to take this opportunity to thank Mike Klein for coordinating the event in support of our community.
Our next blood donation event is scheduled to occur between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28.
