On February 3, Alan Traster, president of Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida, attended the fourth annual Country Club Chef Showdown at the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. The event was a fundraiser for the Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing programs and services to offer comfort, compassion, and improved quality of life for patients and families who are facing advanced illness.
At the showdown, executive chefs from local country clubs competed in an Iron Chef-style competition, creating unique dishes using the same main ingredient. Tasting stations with the chefs’ signature creations were located throughout the ballroom. Prior to the mouth-watering competition, guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.
Guardian SEFL was glad to attend this event to raise money for an organization dedicated to helping those in need throughout the Palm Beach community.
