As a member of the Guardian Pharmacy family, each local pharmacy is able to network with the other successful pharmacies located across the nation. This is all made possible through Guardian’s local-autonomy business model, in which all pharmacies act as partners and learn from each other’s experience and expertise.
Recently, two Guardian SEFL employees – Isa Brown, billing supervisor, and Shawn Neel, collections specialist – traveled to Phoenix, AZ for several days of networking and training with Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy. During the trip, Isa and Shawn were able to share ideas with the Saliba’s staff and further explore new and conventional ways of conducting business. The visit was enlightening for both pharmacies and allowed everyone to walk away with a new perspective on how best to operate a successful long-term care pharmacy.
