Guardian Pharmacy of Northwest Florida had such a wonderful response to our “Basket of Blessings” program last year that we decided to make it an annual holiday tradition. Through this program we provide a gift basket – filled with a warm blanket, socks, a holiday coffee mug, candy, a Christmas sweater and other holiday goodies – to one resident in each community that we serve. This resident is nominated by the staff within that community, and typically is an individual who has relatives or loved ones outside of state that they are unable to visit for the holidays.
The purpose of the “Basket of Blessings” is to ensure that everyone we have the pleasure of serving feels the joy of the holiday season. Our intention is to bless each resident and to brighten this time of year for them. We are very fortunate to share this special time with our residents and to see their smiling faces and tears of happiness when receiving the gifts. We would like to thank each community and their staff for helping make this program a success.
