Guardian Pharmacy of NWFL was honored to recently speak about disaster preparedness at Brookdale of Destin.
Disaster preparedness is always a topic of concern in long-term care communities, especially in the Florida panhandle, as we live in what is known as “hurricane alley.” Having a plan in place for any disaster-related emergency is crucial for all communities and individuals so when an emergency strikes, communities will have the required items and resources readily available.
We want to thank Brookdale and those who attended this event for giving us the opportunity to share our experiences and suggestions on this topic. As hurricane season begins on June 1, please feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss disaster preparedness within your community.
