When Hurricane Michael made landfall along the coast of the Florida Panhandle on October 10th, it did so as the third strongest hurricane to hit our nation in recorded history. It forever changed the lives thousands of people leaving most with nothing. Many businesses will be unable to reopen. Thousands lost their homes and cars. People were left with nothing and little resources to begin to recover and rebuild. Having grown up in one of the hardest hit areas in the path of this storm, I personally felt the loss and devastation and it has been truly heartbreaking. I just want to take this opportunity to give a personal thank you to the Guardian Pharmacy Florida family. These pharmacies throughout Florida collected donations of all sorts sending them to my hometown of Marianna, Florida. We have received three truck loads full of donations to help the people in my hometown get back on the feet. Guardian Pharmacy NWFL, Guardian Tampa and Guardian Orlando each sent donated items for those in need in Jackson County and the surrounding areas. One with food, one with bedding and one with anything you can think of. All of these donations quickly found their way to so many in need. They have provided for and given hope to those that must rebuild. The kindness and generosity of our friends throughout Florida have touched my heart and I will be forever grateful for the blessing you have been to us all. Just another example of how Guardian Pharmacy is truly a family, and gives back when they can to help others in our communities. Thank you so much from all of us here in the Panhandle.
